today i wore my forever 21 leather shorts. (hm, seems like rain = wearing shorts for ams!)
an h&m basic tank, forever 21 parka, betsey johnson lace print tights and my dolca vita X target booties. plus my baby cross earrings. whuud up jesus!

i did lots of walking around downtown and china town today so i couldn't bear to be in heels, especially in the rain.
i did find some feathered goodies while i was out there, i'll post soon!! :)

the past week i had gone to downtown EL LAY 4 days in a row, for errands i had to do for my current internship.
I had to shop for jewelry, fabric, belts and what not so i feel like i know downtown like the back of my hand...
i know where all the bomb places to shop are located, the stores that have more of a cohesive feel to their store, where i can really bargain or not, cheap shoes, cute shoes, where to not even bother.
I feel like i finally figured out this sometimes overwhelming fashion district. and I found a couple stores that I will continue to come to over and over again, cuz really at 20 yrs old. i'm SO over malls and that whole b.s.

okay so maybe i'm slightly biased since I am a virgo (i'll be 21 waay too soon, AH!)....buuuuuut,
no really the people here are fabulousss...and their merch (no offense loves, are even betterrrrr)
if Roxx and I were to have a boutique, no lie...we'd house merchandise just like Virgo,
so as you can only imagine a little piece of me died as i moseyed along throughout their shop, having baby heart palpitations because everything was TO DIE.
I am genuinely impressed and I can't wait to make a "real" visit again since i didn't have enough time to let the awesomeness sink in and gather up my favorite pieces to take home, since I was working on a time crunch.

australian designers. but @ Hobos in couture we are overly obsessing.

maybe it was the fact that one of my favorite models, Bambi who I religiously follow any ad/editorial/anything really she appears in, whose face kept popping up on these fab brands I just recently discovered. My new discovery is AJE ...their garments are the epitome of my style of dressing; infusing girly accents calmed down with a small grungy/edgier feel, i.e. their feminine frocks paired with strappy flat boots + a dash of sparkle.

We were fortunate to get invited to this years MTV movie awards and e have to say, they were toooo dope this year, way better than in the past--HANDS DOWN. we put together these outfits sooooo last minute it was ridic, lit-er-ally minutes before we had to be there.

"HOBOS"? in COUTURE ? Let us start by telling you that we Love Love our name ha ha a little strange how it all came about . See we always loved Fashion without really knowing what it was? We can recall being around 8 maybe 9 years old being at Venice beach and other areas of Los Angeles or where ever are where abouts might of been and seeing people walk tall around us wearing whatever they pleased even bums seemed so free and seemed as though their clothing on their backs told a story. But we would also give credit to the fab Mary Kate Olsen for rocking the Hobo look like no other ! She truly has been such an inspiration and that's what pretty much sealed the deal on the name . Appearing randomly in our heads naturally we chose to stick with it . We assure you our blogs will always tell a story and share with you our experiences , adventures, inspirations and style!
